Devadaru:
(Himalayan Cedar) will normalizes Kapha and Vata.
Anti-inflammatory effect: Devadaru help reduces pain and inflammation of joints and muscles. This oil can be applied locally to reduce inflammation of affected parts. Due to this property it quickly heals painful wounds and also clears them.
Devadaru oil is also a good antiseptic, antifungal & external anti-parasitic.
Karimkurinji:
(Karim Kurinji , Strobilanthes or Sahachara) , helpful in Vata disorders, Karimkurinji is considered as an important medicine in neurological diseases especially in lower spinal region. This root is useful and indicated to help relief from Low backaches, back pain, Disc Prolapse, Sciatica, Rheumatic Joint Pains, Rheumatoid arthritis, Cervical Radiculopathy, Disc Bulge, Herniated Disc, Cervical Spondylosis, Spondylitis, Arthritis pain,Tennis Elbow & Knee Pain.
PachaKarpooram:
(Camphor) is known as “Pachaa Karpooram” in Telugu, By its heating quality, Indian camphor oil is an excellent remedy for Joint pains, diabetic leg pains, and nerve pains.
Lasuna: (Allium sativum)
Nervous system: Indicate for Vata diseases – It removes the obstruction of channels by its hot and penetrating qualities, help to the pacification of Prana Vayu and nourishes it.
Sciatica and similar diseases: helpful by the dissolution of Kapha also by its pungent taste and hot and penetrating qualities help to remove pain and congestion.
Shunti: (Ginger)
Because of its Hot Potency; Shunti will balance Kapha, remove edema, swelling & is anti-inflammatory.
Sesame Oil:
Sesame oil is the traditional oil of choice for abhyanga. It is rich in linoleic acid, and has anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Sesame oil is especially useful for pacifying Vata. It as a good penetrate quality and is very nourishing, and prevents the skin from getting excessively dry.
